For A Restful Night Of Sleep
Heavenly Father,
I am so tired right now. I pray that you bless with a solid night of restful sleep tonight. I know that You offer me a peace that allows me to hand all the troubles of the world over to You and rest in safety.
Allow me to fully experience Your peace tonight. Help me to fall asleep quickly and rest hard so that when I wake tomorrow, I will be rested and renewed with energy to go out and serve You well. In Your Name I pray, amen.

Thank You, God, for today.
I’m not always good at recognizing the blessings You pour into my life in the moment, but I pray that as I rest here at Your feet, that You bring to mind all of the ways You showed me Your unconditional love today – in nature, my relationships, my work, my health, and every other relationship.

When You’ve Had A Rough Day
Lord, today was really difficult.
My body is exhausted and my soul is weary. I know You are always with me, but You feel so far away right now. Please, allow me to feel Your presence.
Come near to me, Jesus. Cover me in Your peace that surpasses all understanding and grant me a restful night of sleep to recover.
I know You are always working things together for my good, even when they feel like a struggle. I’m leaning into You because I’m just not strong enough on my own. Use these trials to strengthen my relationship with You.

Heavenly Father,
I ask for your Almighty protection tonight. I ask that You protect me from physical harm but also that You protect my mind tonight as I dream. Fill my mind with thoughts that honor and glorify You.

When I’m Feeling Anxious
God,
My thoughts are all over the place right now. I’m worried and I can feel anxiety invading my body, down to the bone. I know this is not Your will for me. You are bigger than my anxiety and I ask that You please replace every anxious thought and feeling with Your peace.
You tell us to ask You, with thanksgiving, to relieve our anxiety so that’s what I’m doing right now. I am so thankful I am not alone in this world. You are always with me, right beside me. I know You, I love You, and I trust that You will take these worries from my mind and fill my thoughts with Your promises.
Please, Lord, be near to me right now. I’m struggling and I desperately need You.
